"My goal with every wedding is to capture the spirit of
the couple and record moments that they’ll always remember.
Every wedding is a new story with new characters and new moments
to wait for and document."

The best
photojournalists become a fly on the wall, whether working on
assignment for a magazine or covering your wedding. This work
method allows them to capture real moments, real images that will
be remembered forever.
"I make a point to blend into my surroundings, it’s the
journalist in me. The pictures made when people don’t realize
I’m shooting end up being the ones most loved and cherished.
I like letting things unfold in front of me, with as little direct
contact as possible. I don’t want to be a pest or annoyance
to anyone, as I’ve heard some photographers become."
Many
photographers throw out terms like "photojournalistic"
and "documentary" when talking about their work, but
the proof is in the book. Will they show you a photojournalistm
portfolio?
Jay will. Click here

reasons I fell in love with photojournalism was the challenge of
an ever-changing story and while I could work on projects for several
days to make a story complete, weddings presented me the challenge
of capturing a love story in one day’s work. I loved the possibilities
and decided this was something I could see myself doing as more
than an occasional job."
At the
end of the day, the story in pictures will be complete. From
the major moments to the little details and all the emotion of
your day,
Jay
will give you every image he creates, leaving you with the power
to decide what to keep and what to give to your sister, or
